An Egyptian Alabaster Ear Spools, New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, ca. 1550 - 1295 BCE Medium - Glass with the front leg incorporatedOf creamy alabaster, in mushroom shapes with large domed heads, one with a short spiked post and the other a hollow cylinder post. Dimensions: Max length: 1. 4 cm (0. 55 inches), Min length: 1 cm (0. 39 inches) Condition: Loss to the tip of one pin, otherwise intact and in excellent condition overall. Provenance: Private collection of M. C., Toronto, bought in the 1970s from the London trade.
