A Moche Copper Amulet or Finial, Late Classic Period, ca 800 - 1000 CE Medium - Iron Condition: Intact and in excellentThis very unusal Moche solid cast copper finial amulet shows the head and torso of a man who is drinking from a libation cup (kero). He wars a distinctive round cap and a large loop protrudes from his back whcih is attached to a jug that probably contained the ceremonail drink Chicha, a type of maize beer. Medium: Copper Dimensions: Height: 7 8 inch (2. 2 cm), Width: 1 1 2 inches (3. 81 cm) Condition: Intact and in excellent condition overall.
